what the doodle?

WTD is a biweekly event that occurs at the Fablevision, the studio where I interned for the past couple months. They'll generate a random word from some online generator, and then everyone there has free game to interpret the word in any medium they'd like. I missed the first one, but here are the 3 I've done during my stay:


July 31st: Vehicle


August 14th: Stubble


August 28th: Extinguishable


This past week's was the last one I'd do while officially being at the studio (my last day is this Monday), but I hope to keep participating when I can.

Here are a couple screenshots from a short animation that I started working on at the beginning of the summer. I haven't had very much time at all to work on personal projects due to my summer job and my internship, but I figure with Wednesdays and Fridays off this semester I should be somewhat productive.

But yeah, the animation for this one is not going to be very elaborate, so once I get back into the swing of things I don't anticipate it taking very long. I want this one to be more about character design than anything :)

night of the conchords

So apparently I've had this blog since last November.

That means I'm not as behind on the times as I had originally thought, yet I'm still pretty lame for never posting anything at all for almost a year. I'm even more full of fail when it comes to my actual website, but that's a whole 'nother story.

My first semester as a senior (WHAT THE EFF) starts in a couple of weeks, so I figured a blog would be a good way to keep myself motivated.
